Frank and Jackie Prelgovisk established Mid-Maine Marine in 1986. Frank’s career in the marine business began as a technician for Hancock’s Marine on the New Meadows River in Brunswick, Maine in 1959. Ten years later, he established Frank’s Marine Service in Bath, Maine. Frank became a partner in The Longreach Company in Bath in 1972. Longreach is where his son, Garret, began learning the marine trade. When Frank sold Longreach in 1984 he was able to realize his dream of opening a marine dealership in the Belgrade Lakes Region. Frank’s philosophy in business has always been to provide outstanding service through honesty and integrity. His motto is “Service, Service, Service”; believing that good service is the only way to build a loyal clientele. Having spent the first 26 years of his marine career as a technician, owner, and service manager he practices what he preaches: Mid-Maine Marine Inc. proudly guarantees all of its products and services. Frank has now been in the Marine Business for over 50 years and has surrounded himself with an outstanding crew of service technician’s, sales staff, service personnel, and family. Garret Prelgovisk (son) is Vice President and oversees the Service Department, Ronald Schultz (son-in-law) is Sales Manager, and Jackie Prelgovisk (wife and partner) is in charge of finances.
