Community Events Committees provide fund-raising efforts to support the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce. They assist in planning, coordinating and implementing programs that focus on promotion of networking, cultural and recreational enrichment of the mid-Maine area. Below is a comprehensive list of the Chamber’s Events Committees. Each Event Committee meets as necessary nearing the time of
the event.

The Executive Committee is formed to provide an effective leadership role in shaping the direction and fulfilling the mission of the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce. The Committee consists of Officers that sit on the Chamber’s Board of Directors.Executive Committee oversees high-level functions, such as overseeing the Chamber’s strategic plan, financial and investment stability, budgets, and internal human resource functions. The Committee also assists in funding the KV Transit functions.

The Membership & Marketing Services Committee

The purpose of the Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce’s Public Policy Committee, in part, is to educate its members as to pending ballot issues and legislation relevant to the business community. In many cases the Public Policy Committee will release a Position Statement for publication and distribution through the Mid-Maine Chamber’s Board of Directors.
