R.B.Hall and Waterville Military Band

With his ability to speak about Robert Browne Hall like they knew each other, Dennis brings his extensive knowledge of this talented musician to our audience. Our state celebrates R.B. Hall Day in June, and what a great time to join us and learn more about this leading composer of his time. Maine was R.B. Hall’s home (1858-1907) and he had ties to many bands all around, including the Waterville Military Band. Please join us Thursday, June 12, to learn about R.B. Hall's talents and his interesting life. Waterville Historical Society has many items pertaining to R.B.Hall (such as the legendary gold cornet!) and Waterville Military Band, which will be on display in Marriner Hall. 

As always, light refreshments will be available during the 6:00 social time and Dennis will begin his presentation at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome at this free event. Bring a friend or two!
