Please join us on Veterans Day for a tour in Pine Grove Cemetery of Revolutionary War Patriots’ graves. Come hear about what is known of these men as they came back from service and settled back into (or attempted to) their occupations in the greater Waterville area. 

This walking tour will feature the graves of twelve Veterans of the Revolutionary War along a fairly level route in Pine Grove Cemetery. The tour will be primarily on the gravel roadways. Stepping onto the grassy areas to get a closer look at the gravestones is certainly permitted.

At 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, we will meet at the Pine Grove Cemetery arch on Grove Street, Waterville, almost directly across from the end of Summer Street. There is parking across the street at the cemetery chapel or along the wider roadways within the cemetery. Be mindful that vehicle traffic on Grove Street can be fast moving. The weather is forecast to be chilly, so please dress warmly. We hope to see you there!
