Program Description: There are many legislative changes as well as general employment updates from the past year that impact employment laws in Maine. In this seminar, Anne-Marie will explain the changes, help unravel the impact of the new legislation and other changes and assess how it may impact your business practices.  The discussion will also include some PFML (Paid Family Medical Leave) updates and its impact on your other leave policies.

Learning Objectives:

• Understand the new employment laws and impact on business and organizations
• Learn about updates and changes that may need to be made to handbooks, policies, etc.
