The Maine State Chamber of Commerce’s Environmental Policy Forum returns January 22, 2026, bringing together business leaders, policymakers, and environmental experts for a full-day, solutions-focused conversation on the policies shaping Maine’s economic and environmental future. This forum goes beyond theory—zeroing in on permitting, infrastructure, water quality, PFAS, climate policy, and the real-world impacts of environmental decision-making on Maine employers and communities.

A highlight of the day includes Congressman Jared Golden, who will join via Zoom to discuss why federal permitting reform—and the SPEED Act in particular—matters for Maine projects and job creation.

The agenda also features senior state and federal officials, including Maine DEP Commissioner Melanie Loyzim and EPA Region 1 administrator Mark Sanborn, alongside panels and case studies that dive into PFAS innovation, dam discussions, and opportunities to improve Maine’s permitting landscape. If your work intersects with environmental policy, infrastructure, energy, or economic development, this is a must-attend forum for insight, connection, and forward-looking dialogue.

Space is limited — register now to ensure your participation in this important forum.
