Weather events from land around the lake create a lot of polluted runoff into our streams and lakes that can lead to algae blooms. An easy way to slow the erosion is to use plants placed in strategic areas. Join Friends of Messalonskee and 7 Lakes Alliance to learn what plants are best to use, how to identify where they should go and how to prepare the ground for best results.
