n’s literature, science, and history through plays and musical performances
, these events are many students’ first opportunity to experience live perf
orming arts. Each year, over 4,000 children participate in the Waterville O
pera House School Shows program.\nIn Romeo and Juliet, written by William S
hakespeare, directed by Dawn McAndrews, and presented by the Theater at Mon
mouth, the young, ill-fated couple, who unite only four brief times, arguab
ly engage in the greatest literary love story for the ages.\nThis show is r
