The City of Waterville seeks to fill the position of Information Technologist II in the Technology Department.  This is a full-time, entry level technical position. The candidate should be familiar with multiple Windows desktop and server operating systems.   Skills should include network design, configuration, support, and wiring.  The candidate will provide tech support to end users.  The successful candidate must also be able to be on call certain nights and weekends rotationally.   

The successful candidate is required to hold an Associates Degree with a major in computer science, Bachelor’s Degree preferred, and at least one year of working experience.  Work experience will be considered if the applicant does not possess a degree.  Successful candidate must also possess a valid driver’s license, as well as reliable transportation, as there is a requirement to provide IT support at other facilities.
