Weekend Morning Associate Producer

WABI TV in Bangor, Maine just celebrated 71 years on the air as Maine’s First Television Station and continues to excel in local news, weather, sports and entertainment. We are dedicated to serving our communities and providing effective marketing solutions for area businesses.  JOB SUMMARY:
Job entails assisting in production of weekend morning newscasts. There is a reporting element to this position which requires shooting and editing, writing stories, and posting materials to social media and station website.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES (Use bullet points & Listed duties):

• Taking feeds
• Timing newscasts
• Shooting, writing, and editing
• Posting materials to website and social media
• Operating live backpack unit

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Educational background in electronic mass media/journalism preferred
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
