Welcome to the website for Pittsfield, Maine. We are very proud of our community of 4,230 which provides a wonderful quality of life with extensive recreational pursuits along the Sebasticook; trails for walking, snowmobiling and mountain bike riding; the Pinnacle Ski Slope where children learn to ski; and seven community parks for families to enjoy. It is easy to see why we are known as a very family friendly community. The Town of Pittsfield serves as a regional employment center offering over 2,200 jobs through several major corporations and nearly 200 smaller businesses. With many historic buildings, the beautiful Maine Central Institute campus, our own Community Theatre and one of the largest community festivals in the region - the Central Maine Egg Festival - Pittsfield is interesting and unique! With all of these amazing assets, we must never forget that our greatest asset are our volunteers - literally hundreds of citizens Pittsfield is a mulit-faceted community with much to offer. There is something for everyone here as evidenced by recent reviews of the community since 2012. In August 2012, Pittsfield was certified by the State of Maine as business friendly.

Wolfden Resources Corporation (WLF:TSXV) is a Canadian exploration and development company with a track record of polymetallic deposits discoveries and mine development experience. The Company owns a 100% interest in the Pickett Mountain Project in Maine, USA, one of the highest grade undeveloped VMS deposits in North America. The deposit is situated 85 km west of the Canadian (New Brunswick) border proximal to excellent infrastructure that includes a state highway, power line and railway siding. A Preliminary Economic Study was completed in October 2020 the indicates a robust underground mining operation with an NPV8% of US$200 million, a payback of 2.4 years and a breakeven AISC of US$0.38 /lb zinc equivalent.  An application to re-zone 530 acres of the 6,800 acre property to facilitate an operation in the future, was submitted 2020 and is expected to come up for approval in Q4 2021 or Q1 2022.  Such an approval could be considered a significant milestone for the Company and for the mining sector of Maine. In 2021, the Company plans to continue exploration and drill programs to further upgrade and expand the Pickett Mt resources in parallel with the permitting process.  In addition, the Company has increased its exposure to the precious metal market with an option on the Big Silver Project in Maine.
