Join Best Buddies Waterville Citizens at Paul J. Schupf Art Center on Tuesdays from 12-2pm (Oct. 15th, Nov. 19th, Dec. 17th). We'll have games and an art activity. Bring your lunch or grab a treat at Borderlands Coffee. We're always looking for people to join us in friendship!

Best Buddies is a nonprofit organization with the goal of furthering inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). One of the ways we offer this is through one-to-one friendship programs! Best Buddies clubs at elementary, middle, high schools, and colleges, and through adulthood help to foster friendships between people with and without IDD, offering social interactions while improving the quality of life and belonging for a population that is often isolated and excluded. Through their participation, people with IDD form meaningful connections with their peers, gain self-confidence and self-esteem, and explore shared interests, experiences, and activities. It is a great way to create opportunities for community members and build more inclusive and welcoming schools and communities.
