Assistant Registrar

Position Title: Assistant Registrar Salary Range Salary and benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the Maine Community College System and the MEA Administrators Bargaining Unit; level 3, Salary $45,236.44 - $59,023.34.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Registrar will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance of student records, as well monitoring registration functions, conducting degree audits, and processing changes in student schedules. The Assistant Registrar will also manage the College’s retention software program, communicate with students of concern, and coordinate with the Advising Center staff and college faculty to connect students with support services.   Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree with 2-3 years working in a college setting Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:  Experience with registration, student records, and integrated databases in a college setting Knowledge of student retention strategies and holistic advising Excellent communication skills and customer service Team-oriented  Why work for the Maine Community College System?
