The City of Waterville seeks to fill the position of Executive Assistant. This full-time, non-exempt position would provide support to the office of Public Works/Parks & Recreation. Work involves responsibility for performing diverse administrative, advanced clerical, and support activities. Work requires the exercise of a high level of independent judgement, initiative, and discretion.
Requirements for the position include strong public service skills for interacting with citizens, and for performing a variety of complex clerical and administrative work including fiscal, budgetary, personnel, maintaining records, data entry, and excellent computer skills. Associate’s Degree is preferred. Prior work experience of at least four years in increasingly responsible administrative or office support work required. Any equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered in lieu of the above requirements.
